How LYFE Science verifies every batch of research peptides: independent third-party analysis, published certificates of analysis, and documentation you can check against the vial in your hand.

Our testing process

Purity and identity are the two questions that matter for a research peptide: is the sample actually the target compound, and how much of it is the compound versus impurities. We answer both with independent analysis on every production lot, and we publish the result rather than asking you to take it on faith.

Independent analysis

Each production lot is sent to an independent third-party analytical laboratory, not tested only in-house.

HPLC for purity

High-performance liquid chromatography measures the percentage of the sample that is the target peptide.

Mass spec for identity

Mass spectrometry confirms the molecule matches the expected mass, so you know it is the right compound.

COA on record

The certificate is published per lot and matched to the lot number printed on your vial.

What each test tells you

Purity (HPLC)

The percentage of the sample that is the target peptide, measured by how cleanly it separates on the column. Higher is better and impurities are visible.

Identity (mass spec)

Confirms the molecule weighs what the target peptide should weigh. A pure sample of the wrong compound still fails identity.

Lot traceability

The lot number links the certificate to the exact vial you received, so the documentation is specific, not generic.

A genuine certificate names the testing laboratory, a lot number, and a test date, and the lot number should match the number on your vial.
