Batch verification & COAs

Every lot we ship is tested by an independent laboratory before release. Purity and identity are confirmed by HPLC and mass spectrometry, and the certificate of analysis for your lot is published here.

Independent testing

Lots are analysed by a third-party lab, not just in-house. Results are published, not just claimed.

HPLC + mass spec

High-performance liquid chromatography for purity, mass spectrometry to confirm the correct molecule.

Per-lot, on record

Each production lot has its own COA. Match the lot number on your vial to the table below.

How to read a Certificate of Analysis

Not sure what the numbers mean? Here is an annotated example of the layout you will receive. The values below are illustrative and are not the result for any product sold on this site.

Illustrative example – shows the COA layout only. This is not a batch certificate and the values are not from a real lot.

Identity (mass spec)matches expected mass

Purity (HPLC) is the percentage of the sample that is the target peptide, measured by how cleanly it separates on the column. Identity (mass spec) confirms the molecule weighs what the target peptide should weigh, so you know it is the right compound, not just a pure one. Lot number is the key link: it must match the number on your vial and the row in the table below. Test date and laboratory tell you the results are current and independent.

Lot certificates are published here as current inventory completes independent third-party testing. To request the COA for a specific lot now, email support@lyfescience.ca with the lot number printed on your vial.
Received your order? Match the lot number printed on the vial to a row above. If your lot is not listed yet, email us and we will send its certificate.

COA & testing FAQ

Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis for every product?

Yes. Each production lot is tested by an independent laboratory and its COA is published on this page and matched to the lot number on the vial. If your lot is not listed yet, email support@lyfescience.ca with the lot number and we will send it.

Which laboratory tests the peptides?

Lots are analysed by an independent third-party analytical laboratory, not only in-house. The laboratory name and test date appear on each published COA.

What does the COA actually measure?

Purity by HPLC (the percentage of the sample that is the target peptide) and identity by mass spectrometry (confirming the molecule matches the expected mass). See the annotated example above.

How do I verify a COA is genuine?

A genuine COA names the testing laboratory, a lot number, and a test date. You can contact the named laboratory to confirm a report, and the lot number on the certificate should match the number printed on your vial.
